David Owen Godfrey (D.O.G.) is totally obsessed with dogs. He has dog socks, dog t-shirts, dog stationery, dog mugs and even a dog clock that barks on the hour. The one thing he doesn’t have is a real, live dog. Maybe, if he does well at school, he can persuade Mum and Dad to buy him a puppy, but David knows that’s unlikely, as he is not the world’s greatest student. there has to be another way.
